An easy project for a fabulous surprise on a shore excursion!

There is nothing like watching the sheer excitement on your children's face as they discover something they treasure.  In this case, it's actual treasure they shall discover.  It won't only be fun for them, however, so if you give this one a try, ye best have thy camera handy to capture the moment.   • Napkins - in various colors
  • Plastic container with screw top lid
  • Flower seeds
  • Strainer/Collander
  • Wax paper
  • Cookie cutter - large enough to place your fingers in
  • Towels - 2 to 3
  • Cooling rack (optional)

Supplies for Greeting Card 

  • Construction paper
  • Double-sided tape (or other adhesive)

Mother's Day Handprint Flower Pot


Moms love flowers, and what better way to show Mom how much you love her than with this wonderful homemade present for Mom on Mother's Day. For the past couple years my kids have made these handprint flower pots for both of their Grandmothers on Mother's Day.

Materials:

  • Clay flower pot
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paintbrushes

  • Clear acrylic sealer in gloss or matte

Chicken & Spinach Muffins


What you need:

  • *"Just Add Water" Pancake Mix (we used the Great Value brand)
  • *Baby Spinach, washed and dry, chopped
  • *Cooked Chicken, cut into small pieces
  • ~~~spinach and chicken amounts are based on what you prefer.
